Grande-Synthe, France, 2002. J.D. loads his rifle and drives through town, targeting people of immigrant origin. His violent rampage ends in the murder of a 17-year-old Maghrebi youth.

More than a decade later, the film retraces the killer’s path through the city, juxtaposing its transformations with J.D.’s voice — reconstructed from his trial's case file.

With El Mondher El Hamid, Jean-Luc Mouquet & his dog Vicky
Directed by: Thomas Jenkoe
Editing: Guillaume Massart
Sound recording, sound editing & mixing: Pierre Bompy
